Eli Dean
Eli
is the sweetest, happiest child you will ever meet; he always has a
smile on his face and always wants to kiss who ever is around. Eli was
diagnosed with Fraser Syndrome when he was 2 years old. Fraser’s is a
lot like Cerebral Palsy, except that Eli is blind. He was born with no
eyes. He also has a displaced kidney, a cleft of his vocal cords, so he
only says a few words, but babbles about everything. He is confined to
a wheelchair, and has little control over his muscles. We have to do
everything for him, like feeding, changing, bathing, and taking him in
and out of the wheelchair. He is totally dependant on us for
everything. Eli also has scoliosis, which was corrected last June with
spinal surgery. Eli will be participating in Coweta County Special
Olympics on April 29 at Newnan High School. He also bowls once a month
as part of Special Olympics. Eli is truly a special little boy; he
touches the hearts of everyone he meets.
